The great thing about T.I. and his movement is that he opened the door for everyone around him when he got on. This is something many people say they’ll do and probably wouldn’t. But, T.I. was doing his thing and putting Lil Duval in his videos long before he was famous.
In fact, Lil Duval even got some shoutouts on big T.I. records. When his time came, Lil Duval frequently paid homage to T.I. and spoke for him on “Inside The Label” on BET. His comments on the show have a lot of people talking.
Lil Duval mentioned the early days of Grand Hustle and his comment, “put your guns down and sing” made for a big joke online. A bigger joke, however, was Lil Duval not being aware of Soulja Boy’s $400 million deal. Him not knowing what happened with Soulja Boy led to many fans clowning Duval.
