On January 21, Ashanti and Keyshia Cole finally participated in their Verzuz as both are regarded some of the greatest artists ever in R&B. Now, fans wonder when the next possible Verzuz battle may be. One idea that is floating around is between longtime rivals, T.I. and Lil Flip.
T.I. and Flip feuded back in 2005 and even got into a physical fight in Flip’s hometown of Houston. Since then, they haven’t seen each other and never really buried the hatchet. In November, rivals, Gucci Mane and Jeezy, got on Verzuz and it was epic. Now, people wonder if T.I. and Flip can do the same thing.
Flip recently appeared on the Donnie Houston Podcast the topic of a Verzuz with T.I. was discussed. He says this is possible but the money would be right for it to happen. The Houston legend cited how people are making money off of Verzuz so he wants to get paid as well.
“A lot of people ask that. I don’t know. It’s possible, but if Verzuz want me to do something, man, Imma need a real, real big bag, ’cause somebody makin’ some money off of that. Somebody gettin’ some money. You know what I mean? But uh, yeah, it’s possible. It’s gon’ take a real nice bag.”
T.I. was originally supposed to participate in Verzuz on November 19 vs Jeezy to kick off season 2 but that ended up being Gucci vs Jeezy instead. T.I. fully supported this decision and now, hopefully he can get on Verzuz soon. Going against Flip would do huge numbers for sure.
