Plenty of focus has always been on Chicago due to all of the violence that takes place there. Ever since 2012, many of these people have found success through making music. Still, they face criticism for the music they make, which some say glorifies that lifestyle.
Lil Herb is among these Drill artists from Chicago and he came up in the midst of all the violence. But, he has managed to release successful music and get in good with the legends. Among the old school guys who has looked out for Lil Herb includes Common.
Recently, Lil Herb visited Shade 45 to talk to Sway for “Sway In The Morning” and he discussed the violence going on in Chicago. Focusing on something more positive, Lil Herb also discussed his Nicki Minaj collaboration. But, it was rapping that has made him famous, so Lil Herb didn’t leave Sway without dropping a freestyle for him.
