Tonight, the BET Awards took a moment of silence to honor Prodigy, the legendary one half of Mobb Deep. Last week, Prodigy died from complications from his sickle cell disorder. As sad as it was, it happened the same week of the biggest celebration.
BET often says “We Got You” and they proved it with the Prodigy tribute. They also had Havoc, the legendary other one half of Mobb Deep to present. He was there, alongside Lil’ Kim, who appeared on their “Quiet Storm” single, one of their biggest records.
The moment was about Havoc, but Lil’ Kim stole the show. All of the ladies were talking about her outfit and what it looked like, meanwhile all of the guys were only focused on her booty. Fans had her trending on Twitter afterward.
