The last time she attempted her comeback, Lil’ Kim made it clear she was no fan of Nicki Minaj and made enemies out of the entire Young Money. This came after Lil’ Kim praised Lil Wayne and Drake, but she had one supporter in Ray J. In the end, Lil’ Kim wound up getting into a bitter feud with Nicki Minaj that led most to wonder why the ladies were at odds.

During this period of time, Lil’ Kim managed to retake the spotlight, however. Focused on dissing her rival at all costs, Lil’ Kim released her Black Friday mixtape, which came with several singles. The debate remains if she really profited off the mixtape, but Lil’ Kim got her name back out there and has since refocused her energies.

Lil’ Kim recently talked to Wet Paint about her upcoming album, which comes eight years after the release of 2005’s The Naked Truth. During the interview, Lil’ Kim revealed Bangladesh, known for producing Lil Wayne’s biggest hits, will be the executive producer of her new album. She also spoke about her new artist, Tiffany Foxx.
