It’s been two years since Lil’ Kim dropped any new material and it’s going on eight years since she dropped an album. Everything officially started for Lil’ Kim in 1996 when she dropped her debut LP, Hard Core. From there, Lil’ Kim went on to become the most high-profile femcee in hip hop history.
Hip hop waited on Lil’ Kim to come back with new material and they continue to await hip hop’s original Queen Bee. She has gone through a lot of changes and taken time off to get everything right. This year, Lil’ Kim came back alongside Tiffany Foxx, her new artist she is developing.
Lil’ Kim took to her Twitter earlier today to reveal the status of her upcoming project, which she announced earlier this year. After teasing the new mixtape and releasing a cover for it, Lil’ Kim revealed the release date. Hard Core 2K13 will be released next month on Halloween, October 31, 2013.
