Lil’ Kim takes over at the VMAs, takes pics with Macklemore, Snooki, and Wiz Khalifa [PHOTOS]

Not everyone was pleased with the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, but they did do right by Lil’ Kim. A trailblazer in the rap game, Lil’ Kim is a legend, but she has not been treated as such over the past few years. MTV made sure this was corrected when they had her close out Brooklyn Week and gave her a spotlight last night.

Lil’ Kim presented a few awards and introduced performers for last night’s ceremony. A lot of complaints about last night’s VMAs have hit Twitter, but they did hold the awards show in Jay-Z’s arena in Brooklyn. None of that was much of an issue with the people inside the building, least of all not Lil’ Kim.

In addition to getting a chance to meet Macklemore and Ryan Lewis for the first time, according to her post, Lil’ Kim also reunited with friends. Former “106 & Park” host, Sway Calloway, was at the show and took a photo with Kim and Snooki. Lil’ Kim also reunited with Wiz Khalifa at the show.
