MTV hosting the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn has afforded them the opportunity to delve into the hip hop history of the borough. Many of the biggest names in hip hop history hail from Brooklyn. None of those names are as big or as lasting as The Notorious B.I.G.
Hip hop has never gotten over the loss of The Notorious B.I.G., nor have the people who are close to him. When it comes to talking about The Notorious B.I.G., there was no one as intimate with him than Lil’ Kim. Through his marriage and dalliances, she was the most-consistent woman in B.I.G.’s life.
A few days ago, Sway Calloway posted the above photo to his Instagram. Now, this photo with Lil’ Kim makes much more sense. With the VMAs in Brooklyn, MTV is doing a Brooklyn Week and they had Lil’ Kim scroll through B.I.G.’s neighborhood and there were appearances by Lil’ Cease and more.
