Lil’ Kim’s “Vintage” has been Pushed Back
Lil’ Kim’s expected comeback will have to wait a little bit longer than planned. Initially, Lil’ Kim was expected to release an album in 2008, but she had to secure a release date with Atlantic Records and get them behind her project. Despite little promotion, she has made some progress.
This summer, Lil’ Kim teamed up with T-Pain and Charlie Wilson for the single, “Download.” The song gained minor airplay, but many expected it to become a hit. It did not, but is placed Lil’ Kim’s name back out there in front of the public eye.
Once that single was released, the album was expected to be released sometime in the fall of 2009. However, she has run into trouble picking the next single. Because of that, Lil’ Kim again finds herself without a radio single.
Now, her fifth album, Vintage, can be expected for release sometime next year. Most likely, the album will be released before the end of June 2010.
