Hip hop fans all over the world were heartbroken when they learned of Left Eye’s death. She had gotten her career back on track and she seemed ready to take the game over as a solo artist. Unfortunately, this did not happen, instead Left Eye died and TLC was forever changed. It has been a couple of years and it still hurts.
TLC is an iconic hip hop group, so of course they had to be immortalized on film. They have a biopic set to hit movie theaters in the near future. Lil’ Mama, best known for her “Lip Gloss” single and “Shawty Get Loose” with T-Pain and Chris Brown, is starring in the film. As many already knew, Lil’ Mama is playing the role of Left Eye.
While on the red carpet at the 2013 BET Awards, Lil’ Mama talked to Hip Hop Wired. There, they discussed Lil’ Mama’s upcoming role in the TLC biopic. Without giving up too many details about the film, Lil’ Mama explained what the viewers would be in store for. So, let’s get a show of hands, who will be watching the TLC biopic?
