Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow’s Industry Baby is Top Rap Song at BBMAs
The 2022 Billboard Music Awards are currently giving our early awards, ahead of tonight’s ceremony, in Las Vegas. This is being held at the legendary MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Many hip-hop/rap awards have been handed out, including for Top Rap Song. This award goes to Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby,” which also features Jack Harlow.
Industry Baby was originally released last August, and saw a number two debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. A month later, it finally hit the top of that chart, and was the number one song in the US. Industry Baby also became Lil Nas X’s second number one hit, and the third of his career. Two of those came in 2021.
Industry Baby went on to appear on Nas X’s debut studio album, “Montero.” That project was released the next month, and debuted at number two, on the Billboard 200 chart.
