Lil Nas X Says Nicki Minaj Didn’t Reply Back to Him, When He Sent “Industry Baby” Song to Her

Lil Nas X finally put out his debut studio album, “Montero,” last week. This was led by hit singles such as “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” “Sun Goes Down,” and “Industry Baby,” ft. Jack Harlow. Additional appearances included Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Elton John.

Montero is expected to debut at number two, on the Billboard 200 chart this week, as well. Today, the Atlanta native took to his Twitter feed, to answer some questions from fans, including some missing features on the album.

Nas X ended up revealing that he sent a song to Nicki Minaj, but she didn’t end up replying. The record that this ended up being, was actually “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).” He also went on to add that “Scoop” was the most fun record he worked on, for the album, and even wanted to get Lady Gaga on the album. That didn’t end up happening, due to himself never finishing that record.
