Lil Nas X Shares Text Message From His Dad as He Applauds Him For “Montero” Music Video’s Creativity and How Nas X Lives Life on His Own Terms
Today, Lil Nas X returned with his first single of 2021 in “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).” The music video was also released as it’s been a highly discussed topic on social media. One of the most notable scenes was when Nas X was giving satan a lap dance. This threw off a lot of people as they wondered what the message was there.
Nas X fans in general loved all of the concepts of the Montero music video, though. This afternoon, he also shared a text message sent from his father regarding the visuals as well as himself as a person. Nas X’s father says that this was a very creative video and jokingly added that he “got through it.”
Nas X’s father continued by uplifting him by saying to live life on his own terms and that he’s proud of what he’s been doing. Nas X went on to tweet this morning that “Montero” the album will be out this summer as well. This definitely has the potential to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart based on all of his success since 2019. His “Holiday” single from December also hit platinum status today.
