Lil Reese continues to be one of the most popular rappers in Chicago. Lately though, he went viral in February after beefing with Tekashi 6ix9ine on Instagram Live again. Now, he has just been shot in his hometown of Chicago this morning, around 9:53AM, according to CWB Chicago.
Reese and two other men were shot inside of a parking garage in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Two of the men with Reese are at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition. Another man is in serious condition at Stroger Hospital. Reese’s condition hasn’t been updated yet.
At the scene, police found Reese and the men injured at 6 West Grand Avenue. A Dodge Durango was also riddled with bullets. The vehicle is said to have been stolen.
In 2019, Reese suffered a shooting where he was hit in his neck. That occurred near the Country Club Hills suburb of Chicago. That only required a few days in the hospital as he was released. Hopefully, he pulls through in this situation as well.
