Lil Tjay arrested for gun possession going to Ice Spice video shoot
Lil Tjay is running into some concerning legal issues, as he was arrested on Monday. According to TMZ, this occurred in his hometown of The Bronx. This was all while Tjay was on his way to attend a video shoot that Ice Spice had, who’s also from The Bronx.
Police went on to search Tjay’s car, as the firearm was found inside. As of now, it’s unclear if Tjay is out of custody yet. He was initially booked on a weapons possession charge.
Tjay trended heavily last summer, after he was shot in New Jersey. He was with several friends, as a gunman attempted to rob him. That would go on to spend several weeks in a local hospital, as he made a very quick recovery. Tjay also posted a billboard in The Bronx, as he said “I’m back.” A few months later, he released his new “Beat The Odds” single.
Regarding the Ice Spice video shoot, it appears to be for her new “In Ha Mood” single. This was initially released a few weeks ago. The start of last fall saw Spice soar to stardom, with her breakout “Munch (Feelin’ U)” single.
