Lil Tjay reportedly arrested for gun possession in NYC
Lil Tjay is running into even more legal issues again, in his hometown of New York City. On Tuesday, he was on Instagram Live, as he went on to be arrested by NYPD. Furthermore, reports on social media soon began to claim that this was for gun possession, just like back in January.
According to TMZ, Tjay’s lawyer Dawn Florio also confirmed that an arrest took place, on Tuesday. He was reportedly in Manhattan at the time, and shooting a music video. As a result, Tjay went on to be arrested for reckless endangerment. One officer supposedly even accused him of resisting arrest.
Tjay’s previous arrest in January took place in his hometown of the Bronx. At the time, he was on his way to shoot a video with Ice Spice. That was for her “Gangsta Boo” record, off of her debut “Like..?” EP.
Meanwhile, it’s still unclear if Tjay has since posted bond or not, for this latest arrest. Of course, this all comes after surviving a shooting in New Jersey, last summer.
