Lil Tjay still unconscious after New Jersey shooting
A few days ago, Lil Tjay was shot multiple times, in Edgewater, NJ. Two friends were reportedly with him as well, as one of them was shot once.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office did say that Mohamed Konate ended up being arrested for this shooting, though. He went on to be charged with three counts of first-degree attempted murder. Konate was attempting to rob Tjay and his friends. Two of Tjay’s friends went on to be arrested for second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
Tjay had emergency surgery, and has since been recovering. Unfortunately, Tjay is still unconscious, according to TMZ. Sources also added that Tjay is scheduled for a CAT Scan. Tjay had been moving his legs lately, but he’s made no other bodily movements, aside from that.
Tjay was working on his “Strictly4MyFans” EP, but that is definitely on hold now. He’s released two singles in 2022, which have been “Goin Up” and “In My Head.” In 2021, Tjay released his “Destined 2 Win” album, which went on to debut at number five, in the US. Hopefully, Tjay ended up making a full recovery soon, so he can continue to succeed at what he does best, with his music.
