Over the years, Houston and the surrounding area has produced a great number of hip hop stars. In 1998, Lil’ Troy joined the number of those rap stars. His single, “Wanna Be A Baller,” remains a Southern classic, to this day.
Lil’ Troy may not have the stardom in hip hop he had in 1998, but he remains highly respected. The hit single, “Wanna Be A Baller,” features several guest appearances, among them Lil’ Will. A cousin of Lil’ Troy’s, Lil’ Will also claimed fame from the single.
While Lil’ Troy is still out and doing shows, recently performing his staple at a Houston Rockets’ game, his cousin was nearing the end of his life. A little over a week ago, Lil’ Will got into an accident while driving. The end result was him hitting a tree and his vehicle catching on fire, ending his life, and condolences go out to him.
