Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock” single goes platinum

Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock” reaches platinum status

Lil Uzi Vert has had another major record for himself, since the fall. This is with “Just Wanna Rock,” which was released in October, and went on to peak at number number 12 in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Now, Just Wanna Rock has just reached another major milestone. According to Chart Data, it has just been certified platinum in the US. That came after selling over 1 million units in the US. Uzi also recently performed this single during Drake’s concert at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, a few weeks ago.

Just Wanna Rock has also been debated as the new anthem out of Philadelphia. DJ Drama has even been going viral for saying it’s now bigger than Meek Mill’s “Dreams & Nightmares,” which has been a club banger, since 2012. Uzi is currently still signed to Drama’s Generation Now record label, so he will definitely be vouching for him.

Last summer, Uzi also went on to release his “Red & White” EP. Fans also hope that he finally puts out his long-awaited third studio album “The Pink Tape,” in 2023, as well. Uzi’s last album was “Eternal Atake,” in March 2020.
