Lil Wayne and his son, Dwayne III, celebrated their birthdays together

In 2008, Lil Wayne went on an unprecedented run, which saw him take over the rap game. Already, he had a mixtape run, which claimed the streets. But, Wayne was now proving he could make actual hit records.

Along with taking over the rap game, Lil Wayne welcomed children into his life. Already, he had Reginae, but he welcomed a second child, Dwayne III, during this 2008 run. A few months later, he and Lauren London welcomed Kameron.

Two weeks ago, Lil Wayne celebrated his 39th birthday, which is only days before his oldest son’s, Dwyane Carter III, birthday. The two decided to celebrate this milestone together. Wayne’s son, the living “Carter III,” turned 13 years old.
