Lil Wayne and Shenseea added to Afro Nation Detroit lineup 

The second annual Afro Nation festival is heading to Detroit once again, for 2024. This year’s shows will take place from August 17-18. Moreover, the host venue will also take place at the Bedrock’s Douglass Site. The festival has been unveiling their lineup in different phases throughout this year, as two additional superstars have been announced.

On Tuesday morning, Afro Nation confirmed that Lil Wayne and Shenseea will be hitting the stage in Detroit, in August. Both will be set to perform on the main stage.

Shenseea being added to Afro Nation also comes as she’s preparing to release her sophomore album, “Never Gets Late Here,” on May 24. This project will be led by singles such as “Neva Neva,” “Die For You” and “Hit & Run” featuring Masicka and Di Genius. Additional features also include Coi Leray, Anitta. And Wizkid.

In addition to Lil Wayne and Shenseea, fans will also be able to check out Rema, Asake, PartyNextDoor, Uncle Waffles, Ayra Starr, Amaarae, and more.
