Lil Wayne announces 2022 Lil WeezyAna Fest

Lil Wayne is finally bringing back his Lil WeezyAna Festival, to his hometown of New Orleans. This comes after a 2-year hiatus, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Wayne took to his social media feeds on Tuesday, to make the announcement of his sixth annual festival.

“WE BAAACK!!! Aug 27 New Orleans! #LilWeezyanaFest. Presale tickets will be available tomorrow and Thursday. Tickets on sale Friday 10am! Link in bio. Password: Tunechi.”

Among the additional performers set to take the stage at Lil WeezyAna Fest, include Coi Leray, Moneybagg Yo, Babyface Ray, and Rob 49. Additional artists will be announced later on. The festival will also be held at Champion’s Square, as it did in year’s past.

“We’re glad to be back home! New Orleans birthed us and we can travel and hit the stage anywhere in the world, but there’s no place like home!” added Young Money president Mack Maine. “As always, we will be honoring the many lives lost in Hurricane Katrina as this year marks the 17th year anniversary. Wayne is excited to get back home as this one will be one you won’t want to miss!”
