Lil Wayne disses Pusha T on Twitter

Pusha T has been taking subliminal shots at Drake for months. In fact, his alleged rampage against Drake started well before Common and Drake traded insults. Pusha T’s insults come in spite of Lil Wayne and Kanye West being friends and No Malice, his older brother, requesting him to leave Drake alone. Things finally came to a head with the release of Pusha T’s new single, “Exodus 23:1.”

On the song, Pusha T takes aim at an unknown foe, having choice words for him. Many felt Pusha T was taking more shots at Drake. However, now, it seems as if Pusha T was aiming for a bigger target, Lil Wayne. Throughout his career, many have almost searched for a rival for the emcee. Despite appearing on so many records together, many tried to create tension between Lil Wayne and T.I. Earlier in his career, Lil Wayne took shots at both Jay-Z and 50 Cent, backing off both until he called Jay-Z out last summer.

When questioned about his beef with Jay-Z, Lil Wayne said he never mentioned a name. Following Tha Carter III, Lil Wayne focused more on music and less on controversy. Many felt Lil Wayne was trying to avoid beef by never calling anyone out directly. Apparently, the Young Money honcho is breaking his rule, as he made a very direct statement aimed at Pusha T. On Twitter, he stated “fuk pusha t and anybody that love em.” After making statements like that, there is no turning back.
