Lil Wayne introduces his kids to Queen Latifah at Lakers game
Lil Wayne is an avid Lakers fan and LeBron James has had them acting up, lately. After winning the in-season tournament, the Lakers struggled. When the Thunder, led by SGA, came to town, the Lakers needed the win. However, LeBron didn’t hold back, as he and Anthony Davis combined to give them the win. Also, during that game, Lil Wayne and Queen Latifah ran into each other.
Lil Wayne dominated the late 2000s and early 2010s. During this period of time, Wayne inserted himself into the discourse of the greatest of all-time. Confidently, Wayne added his name to the likes of Tupac, Biggie, and Jay-Z. He didn’t ask, he told people, “next time mention Weezy, baby.” For a few years, people did just that.
Lil Wayne saw his career slow down, over the next decade. Much of this wasn’t about people losing interest in his music. Instead, Wayne became disillusioned by the music industry. As a result, he stopped releasing as much music. Now, Wayne is a bit older, just enjoying life as a father. He took some of his children to the Lakers’ game, which is where his children got to meet Queen Latifah, courtside.
