Lil Wayne is close to completing “Tha Carter V” and wants to surprise people
When Lil Wayne reached the peak of his career in 2008, he began making retirement plans. Originally, Lil Wayne said he wanted to retire when he turned thirty-five and spend more time with his children. Later, Lil Wayne added that Tha Carter V would be his final album.
Lil Wayne will turn thirty-two in September and he has revealed he wants to continue a few album series he has out. Also, Lil Wayne has an album called Devol, which he says may never come out. He has several collaborative albums he wants to drop and he wants to do more Rebirth albums and I Am Not a Human Being.
However, last October, Mel Smith from Cash Money Records said Lil Wayne was working on Tha Carter V. If his plan is still the same, this will conclude his historic career. Mel Smith, the Vice President of Promotions at Cash Money Records, said the new album is phenomenal and Lil Wayne wants to put it out when it’s perfect, as he wants to surprise people.
