Lil Wayne is officially a Roc-A-Fella millionaire, as he announces he’s signed with Roc Nation after spending his entire career with Cash Money Records [VIDEO]

Through his career, Lil Wayne has split his time paying Jay Z homage and dissing him. Following his retirement, Lil Wayne took on the mantle as the “best rapper alive.” At the time, few people believed him, but soon the world did.
When Jay Z returned from retirement in 2006, Lil Wayne led the charge against him. Their beef ended when Jay Z featured Lil Wayne on hisĀ American Gangster album. Wayne returned the favor on “Mr. Carter” fromĀ Tha Carter III, but, by 2011, they were at it again.
Since 2008, Jay Z has focused most of his energy on his business ventures, primarily Roc Nation and TIDAL. Two years ago, Lil Wayne joined TIDAL in the midst of his beef with Cash Money Records, and announced he joined Roc Nation. This afternoon, he made a similar announcement.
