Lil Wayne May Be On Long List of People Donald Trump Plans To Pardon Before Leaving Office This Week

Last week, it was revealed that Lil Wayne and Kodak Black could be one of the many people that Donald Trump pardons during his last week as president. Fox News has now reported that between 50-100 people are expected to be pardoned on Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Trump’s official last day as president is January 19 and President-Elect Joe Biden’s inauguration is January 20.

TMZ added that Wayne being pardoned by Trump is a likely possibility now. Last month, Wayne plead guilty to illegally possessing a loaded weapon. This is after being found with a gold-plated Remington 1911, .45-caliber handgun loaded with six rounds of ammunition on a private jet on December 23, 2019 at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport.

Wayne plead guilty in hopes of avoiding the 10 years for him that are on the table. The sentencing was originally scheduled to take place this month but ended up being pushed back to March 3. Back in 2009, he was also hit with a felony gun charge in which he had to serve one year in prison. Wayne also oddly publicly endorsed and met with Trump before the recent presidential election so Trump definitely has his eyes on this situation for the possible pardon.

As far as Kodak, there is still no word on if he will be pardoned by Trump. He is serving 46 months in prison for a federal firearms case. Here, he was arrested in May 2019 at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami for falsifying information on gun applications. Just like Wayne, he also publicly endorsed Trump on Twitter.
