A few weeks ago, DJ Drama announced he would be working with Lil Wayne, once again. The two would be working on Dedication 4, the long-awaited fourth installment of Lil Wayne’s popular mixtape series. Dedication 4 is set to come right before Lil Wayne releases his latest album, the sequel to 2010’s I Am Not A Human Being.
Yesterday, Lil Wayne was supposed to release Dedication 4. As anticipation began to build for the mixtape, Mack Maine revealed, via Twitter, the mixtape had been pushed back. DJ Drama refocused on the promotion of his album. Lil Wayne, on the other hand, remained silent about the delay.
Today, however, Lil Wayne has provided a video update about Dedication 4. Lil Wayne revealed the mixtape would be released next week. Also in the video update, Lil Wayne released a freestyle over 2 Chainz’ “No Lie” single. “No Lie” features Lil Wayne’s Young Money artist, Drake.
