Lil Wayne reaches settlement with Cash Money Records, for well over $10 million, courtesy of Universal, and he is reportedly no longer on the Cash Money roster, but will reportedly continue receiving royalties from Drake and Nicki Minaj

As everybody knows, Lil Wayne has had a well-documented feud with his longtime label, Cash Money Records. The New Orleans rapper began dissing Birdman and Cash Money, late in 2014. However, they all celebrated New Year’s Day 2016 together.
Despite that, Lil Wayne continued dissing Birdman and Cash Money. It was a very straining situation, as Lil Wayne teamed up with Jay-Z, and kept saying he joined Roc Nation. In the end, all he did was a TIDAL deal, leading to Cash Money suing the streaming service.
Yesterday, news broke that Lil Wayne has officially ended the feud with his label. For the past few months, he and Birdman have reunited. It is now being reported that Wayne settled with Cash Money, for “well over 10 million,” courtesy of Universal, with Drake and Nicki Minaj’s royalties included, as Wayne will now dropĀ Tha Carter V on Universal Records.
