What Lil Wayne said he would do, he did, simple as that. There was one particular goal Lil Wayne had in mind and it was to take over the rap game. Once he did, Wayne decided he wanted to be the leader of the hottest crew in the game and, suddenly, his Young Money camp became a contender.

Lil Wayne made the announcement in 2008 that he had plans of retiring before he turned thirty-five. Suddenly having several children, Lil Wayne said he wanted to spend his younger years with his children. Later, Lil Wayne revealed he wanted to end his career with Tha Carter V.

This year, Tha Carter V will be released and “Believe Me” with Drake is the first single off the new album. Lil Wayne released the official cover for the single to the public after having Kobe Bryant premiere the album cover. In addition to the single cover, he also has an audio teaser available.
