Lil Wayne releases “Sorry 4 Tha Wait 2” mixtape cover

Aside from all of the drama surrounding Lil Wayne and Cash Money Records, there is a lot of music coming from the Young Money leader. He had plans of beginning the end of his career in late 2014. This was when the first part of Tha Carter V would be released.

When the album wasn’t released, Lil Wayne put Birdman on blast and began demanding off Cash Money Records. This has left many confused, given how close the two have been. After all, they have an album together called Like Father, Like Son.

Before Lil Wayne releases an album, he usually releases a mixtape. He delivered Sorry 4 Tha Wait before he delivered Tha Carter IV in 2011. With Tha Carter V now delayed until later 2015, Lil Wayne is preparing the Sorry 4 Tha Wait 2 mixtape. He released the cover for this mixtape, earlier this afternoon.
