In the fall of 2018, Lil Wayne finally released his highly anticipated album, “Tha Carter V.” This cake after years of delays mainly due to issue with Birdman. The long-time friends have since seem to be on good terms after they hit the stage together at last year’s Lil Weezyana Festival.
Now, fans are waiting on the legend to release a new album soon. It’s rumored to be titled “Funeral” and Wayne just gave an insight to its release date.
A fan DMed Wayne on Instagram saying “Weezy what’s good! Kan we get an update on the album? I mean anything, artwork, tracklist? Just anything mane.” Wayne replied by saying it will he out in February. If this is actually official, then the countdown is definitely on for another Weezy album. Any album he touches goes platinum so we can expect the same greatness on this one as well.
