Last night, Lil Wayne shocked the crowd during he and Blink 182’s tour stop in Virginia. He stopped his performance after 20 minutes which was supposed to last an hour because he’s not used to performing for “this crowd.” This was supposedly in regards to crowd size and it soon got smaller after bad weather came into the area. Wayne asked the fans to forgive him and to still make noise for Blink 182. He surprised everyone by saying that could’ve been his last show with Blink 182 on the tour.
Wayne took to Twitter to address the situation today and relieved fans who already got their tickets. The Young Money rapper said yesterday’s concert was crazy but he’s having too much fun with Blink 182 and won’t be quitting the tour. According to The Blast, Wayne has supposedly been miserable during the tour. Sources said that Wayne isn’t done with the tour as he just simply had a bad night. They added that “Lil Wayne is Lil Wayne” and he’s still fully committed to joining Blink 182 for the rest of the tour.
Wayne and Blink 182 are set to tour across 39 cities for their North American tour. Check out his announcement of cutting his performance short last night along with his tweet saying he’s still going on tour with Blink 182 below.
