Lil Wayne says Lakers need to trade Anthony Davis

To start the 2023-24 NBA regular season, the Los Angeles Lakers have had a very slow start. They currently stand at 11th in the Western Conference, at 3-5. This comes after LA made it to the Western Conference Finals last season, but went on to get swept by the eventual NBA champion Denver Nuggets.

Meanwhile, many have ideas as to what the Lakers need to do, to overcome their hump. On Friday, Lil Wayne appeared on “Undisputed” on FS1 again, as he made a very interesting claim. There, he said that the Lakers need to get trade Anthony Davis, on order to become a championship team. Moreover, this comes as the Lakers have lost three straight games, with the latest being a 128-94 blowout loss to the Rockets, in Houston.

Wayne’s claim comes after many critics believe that AD is very injury prone, and won’t be able to contribute to the Lakers, the way he should. This has been a constant issue for Davis, ever since he was first traded to the Lakers, back in 2019.
