Lil Wayne was on fire on Sunday as he racked up seven plaques in total which included some of his most songs and albums. Four of his “Tha Carter” albums reached platinum status as the first Carter project finally reached this accomplishment as well. Wayne received one more plaque as well to close out the night.

Wayne is now at another first-time platinum achievement as this time, the number for the weekend goes to eight, it goes to his “Don’t Cry” song featuring the late XXXTentacion, according to Chart Data. This is after selling 1 million units. This appeared on his 2018 “Tha Carter V” album.

While the “Uproar” single featuring Swizz Beatz received the most mainstream buzz, Don’t Cry was up there as well as this recor came out the same year that XXXTentacion was killed in Florida. It had a great performance on the charts as well as it peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. Wayne and X also appeared on “Get Outta My Head” on Wayne’s “Funeral” album, which was released in January.
