Four years ago, Lil Wayne proved the impact he had on the game when he signed two of the game’s biggest mixtape rappers. Within months of each other, Lil Wayne added both Drake and Nicki Minaj to Young Money. Those two deals are still going strong right now, but Lil Wayne has to keep the label going.
Young Money has a big year in store and has already been big with Lil Wayne releasing his album, I Am Not a Human Being 2. Next up is Drake’s third album, Nothing Was the Same, which boasts “Started from the Bottom” and “5 AM in Toronto.” The energy is good, now a bigger roster is on the horizon.
Lil Wayne is always on the lookout for new artists to sign to Young Money. Tyga is fresh off his Hotel California run and is now breaking. Early this morning, Lil Wayne revealed he has yet another new talent on Young Money. The latest artist is pop group, W3 The Future and Lil Wayne announced them via a new video released to the internet.
