On February 13, Lil Wayne posted on Twitter “she said yes!” Lil Wayne has been in a long-term relationship with a woman named Dhea for some time. Fans of the Young Money rapper felt this was him finally settling down. It was automatically assumed Lil Wayne extended his hand in marriage, for a second time, however, this time to his girlfriend.
Earlier today, several hip hop sites, including Hip Hop Vibe, reported the story of Lil Wayne popping the question to Dhea. The news was the first time Lil Wayne received a headline of his own in months. Wayne has been taking a backseat to the likes of several newcomers and Rick Ross’ crew. His engagement rumors, however, returned him to the news.
After reading the news about himself, Lil Wayne returned to his Twitter account to address the stories about his engagement. Back on Twitter, Lil Wayne said “Ohhhhhhh now I see why!  I meant “she said yes” to being my valentine!!! Hahahahahahaha! Y’all krazy.” For the time being, Lil Wayne is still very much so single, much like his popular 2010 song.
