Lil Wayne finally released his highly anticipated “Funeral” album on the final day of January. There was a delay at midnight though as it wasn’t released everywhere until 3am. It was available on YouTube Music for almost an hour though before being removed.

This is Wayne’s first project since 2018’s ‘Tha Carter V.”  It now appears that it’s on its way to becoming another No. 1 album for the Young Money boss. According to Hits Daily Double, Funeral is projected fo move 110,000-125,000 units.

Funeral contains 24 total tracks with appearances by 2 Chainz, Jay Rock, XXXTentacion, Adam Levine, Big Sean, Lil Baby, and more. One song that stood out was “Bing James” featuring Jay Rock as at the end of it, there was 24 seconds of silence in honor of the late Kobe Bryant. How do you think Funeral compares to Tha Carter V?
