Not only is Lil Wayne one of the more popular rappers in the game, he is also one of rap’s more controversial figures. Often bucking trends, he forged his own path in the game. In addition to this, Lil Wayne boldly took on Jay Z, more than once.
Lil Wayne began spending most of his time in Miami and he later moved to the city, full time. Given the money he’s made in the rap game, it was fitting for Wayne to buy a mansion. A lot of controversy has taken place at this mansion, but not like this.
Earlier this evening, property in Lil Wayne’s mansion was seized by the Miami Beach police department. Law enforcement arrived, due to a disagreement about Lil Wayne and some private jets. Cops arrived to seize certain assets, as Lil Wayne owes $2 million to jet leasing company, Signature Group, and $200,000 in lawyer fees.
