Back in 2015, Lil Yachty began making waves. The Atlanta rapper signed with QC and then his career took off. In 2016, he was one of the game’s biggest breakout stars, and his consistency has kept him among the bigger names.
Lil Yachty, however, is also scrutinized for being a part of the “problem” in hip hop music. Increasingly, the new age rappers are being accused of killing lyricism. The criticism seems to be generational, as rappers once criticized are finding themselves criticizing younger artists.
Now, Lil Yachty is added to the list of rappers with something to say. He has decided to air out “dese n*ggas,” without naming names. But, straight to the point, Lil Yachty said “I rap better den a lot of dese n*ggas.”
