Ever since the emergence of the young rappers on the Chicago scene, many young artists have emerged from all over. These artists make music that is much different than “the norm.” Established figures, such as Jay Z have incorporated the new energy into his new ventures.
Most, however, have just sat around and complained about the new wave. There is a new wave and it is led by the likes of Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Famous Dex, and 21 Savage. These artists have begun making a big impact on the game.
Just one day after his big show, Lil Yachty now seems himself as a target on Twitter. Recently, he made the confession that he cannot name five songs from Tupac or Biggie. This led to the Twitter world going in, holding nothing back, on Lil Yachty for his lack of knowledge.
