This week began with two sad stories, the first was Little Richard facing near death from a mysterious disease. The second story was much sadder, as Afeni Shakur died. At least with Little Richard, there was a chance of him making it.
Needless to say, these fortunes have drastically increased, as the rock and roll legend is doing just fine. It turns out, Little Richard was not facing a serious illness. The story began over the weekend and several outlets, including Hip Hop Vibe, reported it.
In response to the outpour of support, Little Richard spoke to Rolling Stone. Setting the record straight, Little Richard told them he is doing just fine. In fact, Little Richard is doing better than fine, as he says he is still singing.
