Lizzo recently reached a Spotify chart position, alongside Nicki Minaj, among other people. When she made this list, she said she was in good company, with Nicki. This led to backlash, due to her hit with Cardi B.
Responding to this, Lizzo has been paying homage to Nicki Minaj all day. She has concluded this by doing a video, where she is giving Nicki props. In this video, she credits Nicki for ushering in the current generation of female rappers.
