For the fifth consecutive time, LL Cool J is hosting the Grammys. It has become tradition for the viewers to make jokes about him on Twitter. A naturally funny person, anyway, LL Cool J ends up making this a lot easier for the fans to do.
LL Cool J represents just how far hip hop has come, as there was a time when the rap part of the Grammys weren’t televised. Now, for five straight years, a rapper is hosting the show. Still, he makes for some funny jokes, all in good fun.
When introducing Ice Cube and O’Shea Jackson, Jr. to present the Best Rap Album award, LL Cool J made a mistake. He referred to the Junior Jackson as OJ Jackson, as opposed to O’Shea. This definitely gave the fans a good laugh and they made LL Cool J pay for it.
