Lola Brooke stars in new campaign for Timberland
Since late 2022, Lola Brooke has been emerging as one of hip-hop’s new breakout stars. Her 2021 “Don’t Play Wit It” single featuring fellow Brooklyn native Billy B went viral, as many viewed Lola as the next major artist out of New York. That fall, Lola also went on to put out another energetic record, in “Here I Come.”
As a result of Lola’s success, she went on to recently sign a deal with Arista Records, in January. This is in partnership with Team 80 Productions. Over the past month, Lola as also been performing on A Boogie Wit Da Boogie’s “Me Vs Myself” Tour.
Lola’s momentum in 2023 has started strong, as she’s also now receiving endorsements. This now includes being in Timberland’s latest campaign. This is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, as well as the shoe brand’s 50th anniversary of the original Timberland boot. This includes the Hip Hop Royalty Boot,, which pays tribute to the four pillars of Hip Hop — DJ’ing, MC’ing, graffiti, breakdancing, and Sedgwick Ave, in The Bronx.
