Lola Monroe and Cardo end their affiliation with Taylor Gang

Lola MonroeThe past four years of hip hop have brought a whole lot of older elements back to the game. Crews were an instrumental return to the game with Young Money dominating in 2009 and 2010, Maybach Music bossing up in 2011, and G.O.O.D. Music doing their thing last year. This year has belonged to Taylor Gang so far.

Wiz Khalifa has welcomed Ty Dolla $ign into the fold and he has proven to be a great addition to the team. On the other side of the spectrum, Chevy Woods has held things down from day one and is winning. Juicy J is setting the game on fire and that goes without mention.

A lot of success has come in the direction of Taylor Gang and it comes bittersweet because Lola Monroe and Cardo have decided to leave. An executive from Taylor Gang released a statement in regard to their departure. All parties have left the arrangement on good terms.

“After years of helping build their careers, we did not feel as if the relationships were mutually beneficial,” a Taylor Gang executive told XXL. “We wish LoLa and Cardo the best but hope they move on in their respective directions without affiliating themselves to the Taylor Gang brand or name.”
