Louisiana teacher arrested for improper relationship with student

A former high school teacher in St. Tammany Parish has been arrested. She engaged in an inappropriate relationship with two students. As a result, she was arrested. Also, the arrest marks the second time in a week that a local teacher has been accused of improper conduct with students.

Arianna Kadinger, 30, is a former teacher at Pearl River High School, in Louisiana. She was taken into custody on Friday. This came after an investigation revealed that she had sent texts to two students. The texts included “inappropriate language and photographs.” This was according to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office.

As a result, Kadinger is facing one misdemeanor count of obscene communication and four felony counts of prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and a student. The arrest followed an anonymous tip to the Sheriff’s Office on April 9, concerning an allegedly inappropriate relationship between an educator and a student.

“We take all allegations of inappropriate conduct by educators seriously, and we will continue to work diligently to ensure that our students are safe and protected,” said St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Randy Smith.

Also, the St. Tammany Parish School Board has launched an investigation into the matter. In addition, they promised to take appropriate action against any educators found to have engaged in inappropriate conduct.

“We are committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all of our students, and we will not tolerate any behavior that compromises the safety and well-being of our students,” said St. Tammany Parish School Board President, Lisa Mauro.

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is urging parents to come forward. As a result, parents are speaking out.
