Lupe Fiasco announces dates for Samurai Tour

In late June, Lupe Fiasco released his ninth studio album, “Samurai.” The album featured eight new tracks, spearheaded by the lead single “Cake.” Known for his cerebral and smooth style, Lupe’s latest project radiates his pure love for hip-hop, blending his impressive lyricism with compelling beats.

Samurai was produced entirely by Soundtrakk, Lupe’s longtime collaborator, renowned for his work on hits like “Superstar,” “Kick, Push,” and “Hip-Hop Saved My Life.” This album marks their second full collaboration after 2022’s “DRILL MUSIC IN ZION.” It’s also a significant reunion, as it’s the first time Lupe, Soundtrakk, and Lupe’s longtime manager, Charles “Chill” Patton, have been in the studio together since Patton’s release from prison in 2023.

Adding to the excitement, Lupe Fiasco has announced a headlining tour to promote Samurai. Kicking off on October 3 in New York City, the tour will cover 19 dates across the U.S., wrapping up on November 24 in Los Angeles. Fans can secure their spots when tickets go on sale on July 26 at 10am local time.

Lupe’s announcement has ignited buzz among fans already, as Samurai has been a testament to Lupe’s enduring influence and commitment to hip-hop. As the tour dates draw near, the anticipation is palpable, promising a series of unforgettable nights filled with music and storytelling.
