Lupe Fiasco blasts school systems at high school graduation and releases two music videos

Lupe Fiasco 9At best, Lupe Fiasco is controversial because he says what he means no matter who it offends. Hip hop needs people like Lupe who are unafraid to step on toes and make people think. With songs like “Bitch Bad,” Lupe Fiasco has done well, but it has been a year since he returned with anything new.

Lupe Fiasco recently made an appearance at the 2013 Mass Black Graduation and Transition to Manhood Ceremony. It was during this ceremony when Lupe Fiasco told the graduates about what lies ahead for them. In the middle of his speech, Lupe Fiasco told the graduates they had twelve years of the worst education on Earth.

Speaking on the education, Lupe Fiasco told the students their education has them years behind students in other countries. Lupe Fiasco also talked about the transitions into manhood for young black males and he reminded them the cap and gown is just a symbol. On a lighter note, Lupe also dropped some singles.

As a true music head, Lupe Fiasco is always in rotation and there are a lot of people who are still listening to Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album. Lupe Fiasco is rumored to have another album due later this year, but he decided to return to his previous album ten months after it first came out. This weekend, music videos for “Lamborghini Angels,” “ITAL (Roses),” and “Adubon Ballroom” were released. Stay in the mix and check those out, feel free to leave comments below.
