Since day one of “Empire,” it was clear Lucious (Terrence Howard) loved Cookie (Taraji P. Henson). Their love for each other was evident, even when they loved other people. Shoot, maybe, more then than any other time.
Lucious, despite marrying Anika (Grace Gealey), was all over Cookie when she started dating Angelo (Taye Diggs). As soon as she split from the politician, Angelo, Lucious threw a curveball. He started dating a woman from his past, Giuliana (Nia Long).
Even though Cookie was conspiring against Lucious with Andre (Trai Byers) and Xzibit, fans were still rooting for them. Nothing about that has changed, tonight, as all the tweets are about CUcious being a thing, again. Looks like they got their wish.
